Dr. AJ Patrick, DPT

Dr. A.J. Patrick is a board certified Physical Therapist and has been treating patients with orthopedic injuries for the last 15 years. A.J. graduated with honors from Nova Southeastern Univesity as a Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2010 and has since continued his education becoming a Certified Othropaedic Manual Therapist (COMT) through the Ola Grimsby Institute, Certified Orthopadiec Specialist (OCS) through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties and Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength & Conditioning Association.

A.J. has had a wide range of experiences as a Physical Therapist working in orthopedic outpatient clinics, as the lead Physical Therapist with Army Special Operations Military Information Support Operations (MISOC) and has spent the last 11 years working in various Rehab & Performance rolls within Major League Baseball with the Pittsburgh Pirates, the last 4 years spent as the Director of Sports Performance. In that role, A.J. also oversaw the team’s nutrition department and worked closely alongside the mental performance staff to coordinate across all three disciplines. A.J. continues to work with the Pirates as a Special Assistant to Performance & Acquisitions focusing on athlete assessments and movement analysis within the organization’s Scouting Departments and as an advisor for Rehab and Strength & Conditioning.

In his downtime, A.J. enjoys spending time with his family, taking advantage of all the outdoor activities the area has to offer and finding new and creative ways to challenge his own physical abilities and longevity.
